The Jets have finally made a move that makes sense in signing former Jags QB David Garrard to their team. With the QB situation the way it is in East Rutherford, the Jets had nowhere to go but up and they certainly have with Garrard. Garrard hasn't played a snap in the NFL since 2010. He was supposed to play in 2011 but a couple days before the season began, he was let go. Hopefully he'll get a good shot at redeeming himself and an organization that has been the subject of a lot of scrutiny over the last year. It seems right now that Garrard is the obvious starter over Sanchez, Tebow, and McElroy but I guess we'll see.
Garrard's career stats: 16003 yards, 61.6 completion %, 89 TDs, 54 INTs, and has a QB rating of 85.8
